You won't have to rent a car when you stay at Wildwood unless you really want too! Seattle is well known for it's clean and inexpensive public transportation. There is even public express bus service from inside the airport which will bring you right to the B&B. You will never wait more than a few minutes for your bus, in fact the bus will pick you up in front of the Inn and drop you off in "downtown" Seattle, with the Pike Place Market, historical Pioneer Square, our water front on Elliot Bay, museums, theater, night life, the Convention Center and lots of shopping. Wildwood is just steps away from the beach and ferry terminal which will take you to beautiful Vashon Island or to Southworth on the Olympic Peninsula and gateway to our luscious rain forests. Downtown Seattle is a 12 minute drive away. We are a 3 minute walk to Lincoln Park, truly one of the most magnificent parks in Washington. With 54acres of old growth forest, trails for circuit training, jogging or walking along the beach, and throughout the park. There are picnicking and barbecue shelters, tennis courts, horseshoe, baseball diamonds and an outdoor Olympic size pool. Here at the B&B we have a small neighborhood shopping area just around the corner, with a restaurant, hairdresser, bakery, espresso and gift shop.

This large historical home, reminiscent of an English Cotswold country cottage was designed by an architect for his wife in 1923. His attention to comfort and detail is apparent in the many built-ins, nooks and crannies and lovely open staircase. It is our attentions to detail, however which wil bring you back to Wildwood.

Wildwood B&B offers a range of charming, well appointed accommodations and sumptuous breakfasts in our formal dinning room or in our gardens served on the finest English bone china. Our guests are welcome to enjoy the brick courtyard, covered porches, perennial gardens and quiet sitting areas. Free parking. Free WiFi and free unlimited local and long distance calls to anywhere in the US or Canada. Smoking is never permitted in our home, but you're welcome to smoke outside or on our covered porches.
